Ginfinite combinations

A Warwick-based gin bar has launched a unique pick-and-mix concept that allows their customers to choose from over 90 flavours to create their own bespoke gin.

Steve Bazell, who owns the bar and devised the new concept, believes that his company has the largest range of flavours, which customers can choose from to create specific and unique flavour combinations.

Ideal for wedding favours, gifts and corporate hospitality, this new service allows customers to create up to 4,000 flavour combinations using just two flavours (if four flavours are chosen there are nearly 3 million combinations).

Customers choose the flavour combinations to suit their taste, event or occasion, which are blended with the company’s base gins, which are produced on-site in Warwick, to complement the chosen flavours.

Once the gins have been created – available in 50ml, 250ml and 500ml bottles – they are sent out by courier to customers across the UK.

The company has also recently unveiled a range of gin gift sets, which comprise three bottles (250ml) of flavoured gins. Completing the gift range is a cocktail set, which is supplied with enough ingredients for five cocktails and a mini cocktail shaker.

Commenting on the launch of the new pick-and-mix gin concept and range of gift packs, That Gin Company’s owner, Steve Bazell, said: “Visitors to our website now have the ability to order one of our best-selling flavours or even make up a gift set of all their favourites. Or they can get in touch with us direct to discuss ordering from an even wider selection that can be made to order.

“These range from the traditional juniper and floral gins through to fruity offerings such as Pineapple, Sicilian Orange, Lemon, and Passionfruit and, for spice lovers, Pink Pepper, Black Pepper & Cardamon or Jalapenos gin.

“Those with a sweet tooth can also choose from a desserts range, including Cherry Bakewell, Black Forest Gateau and Biscoffi.

“There’s lots of companies who sell a selection of different miniatures and gins but what makes us different from the rest is that we can offer unique gin flavours. We’re expecting our bespoke miniatures to be particularly popular as wedding favours, for example.”

The Warwick-based entrepreneur opened the doors to his business in May 2022 following a string of delays caused by the pandemic. Since launching, his bar has gone on to become a popular haunt for local gin-lovers.

Here at Hand Crafted Drinks Magazine we were given the chance to trial the new service towards the end of 2022. We chose six flavours to create three bespoke gins, which we sampled and reviewed last November, and concluded then that Steve and his team was on to a winner.

With so many flavour combinations available it’s going to keep customers coming back for more.
