It is now just over a month to go for this year’s People’s Choice Wine Awards, which were launched in 2017 by Janet Harrison of Cracking Wine and Judy Kendrick from JK Marketing. In 2020 the company launched the People’s Choice Spirits Awards.
The consumer-friendly categories attract wine and spirits submissions from all over the world, in any packaging format and at any price point.
Submissions are welcomed from all sources, including importers, independent retailers, supermarkets and producers. Additional categories for producers seeking representation in the UK are available.
Hand-picked, enthusiastic consumers (chosen via an application process) are invited to judge alongside professional wine and spirits experts, making the competition exciting, inclusive and relevant to today’s wine business.
The professionals include respected wine and spirits buyers, sommeliers, importers, journalists, retailers and drinks writers.
The annual drinks awards provide significant commercial benefits to the shortlisted and winning wines and spirits brands, which includes strong social media, marketing and PR campaigns, including consumer tastings, trade and consumer press coverage.
If you’re interested in attending the awards ceremony taking place at Stoller Hall in Manchester on Tuesday 28 February, when the winners will be announced by Helena Nicklin and Matt White, visit their website for tickets and more information.
