From small acorns

Jacob Liddle launched Jiddler’s Tipple in October 2019 with the aim of creating inclusive, delicious and eco-friendly beer.

The core range is carbon positive, vegan and gluten free, with a lower alcohol content (3.8%).

His Cold IPA has the thirst quenching drinkability of a pilsner, paired with the hop intensity of an IPA; it has been fermented with lager yeast and conditioned until it’s crystal clear — producing a light, refreshing beer and fully rounded beer.

The combination of Nelson Sauvin, Citra, Eukanot and Galaxy deliver a fruity intensity of gooseberry, melon, pineapple, guava, peach, grapefruit, mango and more.

Jacob was delighted to announce that from 23 September the Cold IPA will be available in Tesco stores across the country, which is a major achievement for a small, independent brewer.

Unique to Jiddler’s Tipple is the can design, as Jacob explains: “Apart from producing exceptional sessionable beer that’s accessible to everyone, my beers are ‘dressed’ in personally selected vintage shirt patterns.”

The cans certainly have shelf appeal and they will stand out from the competition, for all the right reasons.

We look forward to following this company and seeing how this brewery grows and develops.
