We are Mike and Jack, a father and son who love gin and, after a few too many one night, decided we would create our own. Everything sounds like a good idea after a few drinks.

We invested in a small copper still, obtained the necessary licenses, did some research and were soon up and running, developing our recipe in the kitchen. After numerous distillations and tastings, we came up with what we call our “Original” blend. The idea was conceived in Prestwich, so what better way to celebrate that than to call it Prestwich Gin.

One year later, our “Original” Gin has won a Bronze Medal at the International Wine and Spirits Competition (IWSC2021) and are proud as punch!

The Prestwich Original Gin is a small batch London dry with 12 natural botanicals. On the nose the gin has a floral bouquet followed by a citrus and angelica freshness. On the palate there is a dry juniper taste balanced with zesty grapefruit and orange peels with the delicate floral flavours of lavender, rose and a hint of cardamom. The finish gives a lovely mouthfeel and gentle sweetness.  

We have now added a new spiced gin to our range, which is a London dry with 9 natural botanicals. The spiced gin has a dry juniper taste balanced with the citrus flavours of coriander, angelica, and orange peel. The spiced element is provide by nutmeg, cinnamon, cloves, with the warming flavours of ginger and pink peppercorns.
