In 2019 the Duke and Duchess of Devonshire enquired if anyone on the Chatsworth Estate was producing gin. Having recently moved the Peak Ales brewhouse to a new location, we had the space to facilitate a distillery and so we said no we don’t, but we can! This was something I had longed to do, so we set about developing Chatsworth Gin.

We use selected botanicals from the Chatsworth House Greenhouse and Garden in both of our gins, which have won multiple awards with seven having been awarded between them in 2022.

Our still is thirsty for more however, so this year we intend to start producing our own range of gins, vodka and more: watch this space.

Our shop is based on the Chatsworth Estate and open from 11am-4pm Monday to Saturday.
