Lost Loch Spirits was founded by Peter Dignan and Richard Pierce in 2017. With a passion for history as well as distilling, Pete and Rich are proud to be a part of a legal, modern-day resurgence of craft distilling on Royal Deeside.
Travelling through Royal Deeside to get to the distillery, you’ll start to get a flavour of the natural beauty and local history that surrounds and inspires the team every day.
The Lost Loch Spirits distillery is nestled between forest and farmland on the edge of the Cairngorm National Park and located on what would have been eastern shore of Loch Auchlossan. In 1944 the Loch was drained to assist with the war effort and Loch Auchlossan has now been lost to time.
Lost Loch are best known for their award-winning products but they also have award-winning experiences too. These include: Lost Loch Spirits School, Tours & Tastings and Lost Loch Live (music, gathering of friends & tasty food). Lost Loch offer a contract distilling service too, specialising working with start-up brands, innovators and entrepreneurs.
