The People’s Choice

We’re delighted to be supporting an exciting consumer-facing national drinks awards, which is currently open for entries.

The deadline for online submissions for the People’s Choice Drinks Awards is 17 October 2022; samples must be received by 28 October 2022. The cost is just £120 and includes free marketing assistance for finalist and medal winning spirits.

We recommend this unique competition to you because it offers great promotional opportunities. One of the many benefits includes an innovative Drinks Finder — an online curated search facility which lists all the finalists and medal winning drinks producers.

Each producer gets their own page showing an image of their drinks, useful judges comments and a direct stockist link. This information is all included in the submission fee of £120 and full entry details can be found online here.

The consumer-friendly categories include Gin, Rum, Vodka, canned cocktails, Whiskies from around the world and no/low alcohol, Mezcal, Eau de Vie, Mastika, Clairin and more.

The team behind this awards competition are very friendly and welcome all enquiries. Janet is available via email: janet@peopleschoicespiritsawards.com or you can call her on: 07793 749362.

If you’re not sure whether to enter the competition or not, here are some quotes from previous entrants:

“The idea of actual consumers having their vote in this awards as well as industry experts really appealed to me and this was the main reason I entered both Diablesse Rums into the competition. Even better still we were absolutely thrilled to come out with 2 medals!” Cleo Farman, Diablesse

“The People’s Choice Spirit Awards was fantastic! Since winning Gold at the ceremony we have noticed more attention from suppliers, more follows on social media and has increased my network of people in the industry, very exciting” Lucy Wolfenden, Founder Decorrum.

“For me, competitions grounded in the consumer, like the People’s Choice Drinks Awards, can only become more important as shoppers ‘geek up’ and channel their enthusiasm into learning more. After all, they’re the ones voting with their spend.” Rachel McCarton-Jones, Crate PR

We’re delighted to be supporting this truly democratic drinks award competition, which is voted by the consumers — the most important element of any successful drinks business.
