Skinner’s Brewery has collaborated with heating solutions experts Blue Flame to set a new bar in corporate gifting, crafting 80 cases of personalised beer ‘Brew Flame’ exclusively for the Penryn-based company.
Following the successful collaboration, Skinner’s is now offering a personalised beer service to companies searching for unique corporate gifts, as well as pubs, bars and hotels keen to create high quality own label beers using the expertise of an award-winning, independent brewery.
Brewery co-owner Elaine Skinner explained: “Following the Blue Flame project, we now have a great model for producing exclusive, own-branded beers for other companies and organisations. We’re already receiving enquiries from some really exciting brands who love the idea of working with an independent Cornish brewer to create unique corporate gifts.”
Delivered during November in time for Christmas, the Brew Flame collaboration was the result of Skinner’s successful crowdfunding campaign earlier this year; Blue Flame pledged generously to the campaign in return for the creation of their own branded beer.
Commenting on their new range of beers Mark Bolitho a director of Blue Flame, said: “Skinner’s is a great Cornish brand. Having an exclusive beer created just for us by their team was a great opportunity to have a bit of fun and gift our customers, clients and colleagues something a bit more personal.”
The brief to the Skinner’s brewers was to create a refreshing, crisp beer perfect for enjoying after a busy day providing the people of Cornwall with heating, plumbing, electrical and renewables support – the result is a Cornish Pale Ale which perfectly balances punchy hops and tropical fruit notes.
Brewery Founder Steve Skinner commented: “We loved working on this project with a fellow Cornish business. Like us, Mark, Paul and their team have been part of the Cornish community for three decades and that sense of community has been integral to the identity of both our businesses.”
