Scotland’s only Scotch whisky cream liqueur brand, Magnum, is made with single malt Scotch whisky, which delivers a silky smooth indulgent experience.
We were sent a full size ‘bottle’ of Magnum, which is in fact a stylish stainless steel flask, which is designed to be reusable and recyclable.
It also keeps the liqueur chilled at the optimum temperature, without the need for ice.
From the first sip, which we sampled neat and over ice, the premium ingredients are apparent, which sets Magnum apart from other cream liqueurs.
The single malt whisky confidently balances the creamy caramel flavours, with subtle hints of ginger in the finish.
We were very impressed with Magnum and, judging by their sales, we’re not alone in our opinion, and with the cream liqueur season fast approaching, we expect this to compete well against the more established brands.
To keep up with the growing demand Magnum’s production facilities, which are based in Kirkcaldy, Fife, produce around 40 bottles a minute of this impressive cream liqueur.
Looking to the future there are rumours that the company might be looking to produce a rum and a tequila cream liqueur; nothing’s been confirmed but if they do go into production we would expect them to be equally good.
