Out of many entrants in the Pre-Mixed/RTD (ready-to-drink) category at the recent Global Spirits Business Autumn Tasting Masters Competition 2022, the panel of judges awarded Myatt’s Fields Cocktails the only gold medal.
Taking the gold medal was Myatt’s Fields Cocktails’ Vesper Martini that impressed the judges with its character, smoothness and balance.
Commenting on the award, Clemency Penn, founder of Myatt’s Fields Cocktails, said: “We couldn’t be more delighted to have won the gold medal at the esteemed Spirits Business Awards.
“Our Vesper Martini is a beautiful balance of gin, vodka and aromatised wine that we have been working on for years. Customers love the flavour profile of the drink and the simplicity of the serve. It’s also great to see Myatt’s Fields on the map!”
The Pre-Mixed/RTD category is enjoying a period of rapid growth in the UK and Myatt’s Fields Cocktails is one of the leading players in this buoyant sector.
A recent report published by InsightAce Analytic stated that the global market for the Pre-Mixed and RTD sector was valued at just under £33bn in 2021; it is expected to reach over £85bn in 2030.
In the same way that the ready meal industry has turned cuisine on its head, it is anticipated that the RTD industry is transforming the way consumers see cocktails.
