Award-winning tequila cocktail brand Pimentae has expanded into the UK travel hospitality sector – its premium margaritas are available on tap and in take-away formats at major airports, including Heathrow, Gatwick, London Luton and Manchester.
The premium RTD cocktail brand has been listed with Big Smoke Taphouses at Heathrow Terminal 3 (Oceanic), Heathrow Terminal 5 (The Globe, landside), Gatwick (airside) and London Luton (airside).
Pimentae has also launched six on-tap lines alongside its full canned range at the Great Northern Market at Manchester Airport (airside), which went live on 3 February 2026.
Served via a 20-litre keg, the on-tap range includes Spicy Margarita, Grapefruit Margarita and Tommy’s Margarita, delivering bar-quality cocktails with the speed, consistency and efficiency required in high-footfall travel environments.
Their full range of 125ml cans, including Cucumber Margarita, is now available for take-away at Great Northern Market, giving travellers a premium RTD option to enjoy on the go.
A unique feature of the installation at Manchester Airport is Pimentae’s fully bespoke tap design, with custom fonts and wraps created using the brand’s artwork – the first of its kind for an airport environment – reinforcing Pimentae’s bold visual identity at the bar.
Launched in 2021 by Alice Parmiter and Wynter Karo, Pimentae’s founders were once told there was “no place for RTDs in trade.”
Today, Pimentae – one of the fastest-growing premium tequila cocktail brands – sits alongside global spirits players in some of the UK’s busiest transport hubs, reinforcing the growing role of premium RTDs in modern on-trade and travel environments.
The airport expansion has been delivered in partnership with Airport Retail Enterprises (UK) Limited, with the technical install, bespoke tap builds, menu placement and staff training led by Katie Arabella Ward, Senior National Account Manager at Pimentae Drinks.
As demand for tequila in the UK is continuing its upward trajectory (sales up 94% in value year-on-year) and the premium RTD market now worth £483 million, the future of Pimentae looks extremely secure.
