Boost for alcohol-free spirits

London-based Elegantly Spirited’s non-alcoholic spirits brand, STRYKK™, comprises an impressive range of high quality non-alcohol alternatives to gin, rum and vodka. Stryyk was the first brand to mimic various mainstream spirits, which were two years in development.

In 2018 they launched their first non-alcoholic spirits, Not Gin and Not Rum; Not Vodka followed in 2019, the same year AG Barr entered the alcohol-free spirits market by taking a 20% stake in Elegantly Spirited. Since then, AG Barr’s subsidiary Funkin has been Elegantly Spirited’s exclusive UK distributor.

The company’s distillation process used to create the Stryyk range is 100% natural with no sugar, no fat, no carbohydrates and no artificial flavouring, yet each spirit delivers an authentic taste that customers would expect to enjoy when imbibing a traditional gin, rum or vodka.

Stryyk was one of the early innovators in the non-alcoholic spirits category and one of the first to launch. The brand was initially only available in bars and clubs, and was one of the first companies to offer non-alcoholic Stryyk-based cocktails, which were available in some of the country’s leading bar and restaurant operators, including London-based Daisy Green Group, The Alchemist, Tonkotsu and Caravan Group.

Commenting on the popularity of Stryyk’s range, Chris Ammermann, director of operations of Caravan Group said: “We launched Stryyk last year in all Caravan locations and have been blown away by how well it has performed since.

“Our guests love that we can now offer them a non-alcoholic cocktail as delicious as the cocktails on the rest of our menu, keeping them coming back for more.”

Elegantly Spirited’s CEO and founder, Alex Carlton, explains why he feels that Stryyk is doing so well: “We’re the spirit of friends coming together to experience more, and more often. With the new generation of partygoers choosing to drink less alcohol and sometimes none at all, Stryyk offers a zero-proof spirit which enables them to enjoy the drinks they love and stay in the moment, without compromising on taste, experience or calories.”

With the latest government advice suggesting that we all aim to have more alcohol-free days each week, Strykk’s unique range might just fit the bill for those who are happy to forgo the alcohol, but not the experience.

Strykk is available from Tesco, Ocado, Amazon &
